A plant-based calcium supplement extracted from 100% organic mineralised seaweed, Lithothamnium. It also provides naturally-occurring trace minerals for optimal bone health.
BONE HEALTH
Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the body with 99% of it found in the bones and teeth. It provides strength and density to bones and teeth. Calcium is also needed for normal communication among nerve cells, blood clotting, and muscle contraction.
Sufficient calcium intake during puberty and up to 30 years of age is necessary to achieve peak bone mass. Calcium deficiencies in young people can account for a 5 to 10 percent difference in peak bone mass and can increase the risk of osteoporosis later in life. Regular calcium intake thereafter will help to maintain the bone mass.
Calcium is especially essential for growing children, women, expectant mothers and the elderly.
Organic Vegetarian Calcium contains other naturally occurring minerals found in the seaweed such as magnesium, boron, selenium and zinc; essential for calcium utilisation in bone repair and optimal bone health.
BETTER ABSORPTION
Organic Vegetarian Calcium is produced from mineralised seaweed (Lithothamniun spp), harvested from the pollution free, mineral rich Atlantic waters.
The calcium and other minerals in this seaweed are highly bioavailable because of the porous, honeycomb-like structure of the minerals. They present a very large surface area to allow easier solubilisation, increased reactive surfaces and hence better absorption of the minerals by our body.

Suggested Usage:
Take 1 tablet, 1 to 2 times a day before food.
